Mesotherapy for Fat Pockets

For many, losing weight is not a problem, it's getting back into shape. Do you have love handles not helped by exercise? There's a treatment that doesn't require surgery. After having a baby, a young mother, from our area, had trouble losing weight. Amy told me she worked very hard with no results.  Then she tried mesotherapy."I wanted to get something done, something easy. I had a baby 2-years ago, worked out, dieted, exercised, still there's a little baby pouch. I want to get rid of it, and this is a very easy way to get rid of it," she finds.Mesotherapy is a series of injections to help people lose fat. It was developed 50-years ago in France. Doctor Kurt Moran of Scranton went there to learn the treatment. He believes it's a safe substitute for surgery. "Having had liposuction myself about 12-years ago,  I thought it really was an alternative to liposuction. What it involves is injecting a certain amount of substances into areas of fat, no matter where it is, love handles, buttocks, underneath the chin, underneath the eyes when there's fat pads," Moran says. The treatment is used on inherited fat pockets, or those 30-pounds overweight. What are the ingredients of the injections."Most people know it under the name lecithin, a soy bean product. There's other small components that we do use like a bit of caffeine, and an amino acid, and each one of them has a certain, duty to perform," Moran says. Amy gets the injections around her midsection. The treatment was finished within about 10-minutes. "Wonderful experience, no downtime. I'm able to go out function normally, no pain," Amy says.

The injections appear to be working.  She'll be back for more until she reaches her goal.
